It has been years since we've seen each other, but my thoughts always come back to Mt. Vernon. I am sorry to hear about Mr. Hamlin's death.

Norman Hamlin was such a wonderful person. I remember how we used to go away in February (renting a house in Vermont) to go skiing. Afterwards, as we sat around having a drink and snacks, Norman could be found in a corner grading papers. Norman and Barbara always opened their hearts and home to friends--visitng Christmas Cove was always an adventure. What a brilliant man--he will surely be missed by fellow colleagues, friends, and family.
