Crump Bernadette Obituary

A beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston for 72 years, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Bethany Health Care Center, Framingham. Daughter of the late Thomas Crump and Bertha (Jansen) Crump. Sister of Loretta B. Celle of Dedham, and the late Beatrice Lee, Raymond T., Paul, Norbert P., Gerard J., Herbert P., and Edward R. Crump. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Formerly missioned as teacher at St. Matthew, Dorchester; St. John, Swampscott; Immaculate Conception, Everett; St. Angela, Mattapan; St. Pius, Lynn; St. Paul, Hingham; Sacred Heart, North Quincy, and as Nurse Helper at Bethany Health Care Center, Framingham. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Sunday, November 4, 2007, 3:30-6:00 p.m. Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass. Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, FRAMINGHAM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sisters of Saint Joseph, c/o Mission Advancement, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135

I am so sorry to hear of Sr. Bernadette's passing. She was my 8th grade homeroom teacher at Sacred Heart, N.Q. in 1983. She was a wonderful person and great math teacher. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. My prayers are with you.
