I write this entry with a very heavy heart. Helen and I were actually second cousins but I always called her my aunt and loved her like my own mother. Bill Sr. and my mom, Rita Cunningham McQuinn, were first cousins. I remember for my 8th grade graduation back in 1973, my mom and I made a trip to West Newton to visit Helen and Bill. We were welcomed with arms wide and so much love. Then in July of 1990 Bill and Helen came to Chicago to visit us. It was at that time I was having my first child. We celebrated Helen's birthday (July 3rd) and my son, Joe, was born on July 4th. I will always remember July 3rd as Helen's birthday.

The scriptures tell us that we will all meet up in heaven. And with that in mind, I smile that Bill Sr. and Helen, as well as my mom and dad, are all up in heaven smiling down upon us.

May God Bless Billy Jr., Stephen and his family, and all of the lives that Helen has touched for we are much better people having had her in our lives.

Helen, I love you. Rest in peace.
