Gertrude Chandler Obituary

Age 99, of Marblehead, MA, died at her home on November 1, 2007. She was born in Salem, MA and was the wife of the late Hyman B. Chandler. She is survived by her daughter Jane Chandler Weiss and son-in-law Robert Weiss of Boston, MA; grandchildren Laura Weiss of San Francisco, CA, Kathryn Weiss Beurer and her husband Darren Beurer of Stamford, CT, John Chandler Weiss and his wife Abby of Arlington, MA and Neil Weiss and his wife Laura of San Rafael, CA and six great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend Graveside Services on Sunday, November 4th at 10:30 AM at Temple Beth El Cemetery of Congregation Shirat Hayam, Lowell St., Peabody. Following the burial services on Sunday, visiting hours will be held in Marblehead at her late residence from 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Temple Shalom, 287 Lafayette St., Salem, MA 01970 or Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923 or a charity of choice.
