Robert Greer Obituary

Of Everett, November 3, 2007 at 73 years. Beloved son of the late Robert Sr. and the late Josephine (Dacey) Greer. Loving brother of Donald Greer and his wife Barbara of Tewksbury and Jeanne Veno and her husband Ronald of Tewksbury. Father of Robert Blackmore of Lakeville, MN. He is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the J. F. Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, EVERETT on Tuesday, Nov 6th from 9-11 AM followed by a funeral at 11 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Robert was a retired Everett Firefighter, Korean War Air Force Veteran, a member and former president of Firefighters Union Local #1656, member of the IAFF, American Legion, VFW, and the Franco-American Club, Everett. In his memory donations may be made to the Quigley Memorial Hospital, 91 Crest Av, Chelsea, MA 02150 J. F. Ward Funeral Home (617) 387-3367

Deqar Don, Barb & Family:

I can't say that I knew "Uncle Bobby" well but I have a lot of respect for those whose lives he did touch and would like to offer my condolences. Certainly a sad day for the Greer family and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USAF and secondly for the citizens of Everett when you served with the EFD.
