Robert J. "Bob" Moore Sr.

Of Needham, November 2, 2007. Beloved husband for 52 years of Frances (Delaney) Moore. Father of Kathy Moore of Needham, Mary Moore and her partner Claire of Madison, WI, Bob Moore, Jr. and his wife Nancy "Beba" of Needham, Beth Moore-Cote of Needham, Eileen Moore-Cantrill and her husband Jim of Groton MA, Annie Moore-Magner and her husband Peter of Mason OH, Tim Moore and his wife Danielle of Stoughton, MA and Chris Moore and his wife Susie of New York, NY. Brother of Richard Moore and his wife Gwen of FL and Kay Gemmil and her husband Len of CO. Loving grandfather of Bo, Jamie and Nick Moore, Alissa, Erin and Maggie Cote, Quinn and Delaney Cantrill, Frankie and Pete Magner and Michael Moore. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Church 1180 Greendale Ave., Needham on Wednesday November 7 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name may be made to the Charles River ARC, 59 East Militia Heights, Needham MA 02492. Late graduate of Cornell University, Class of 1952 and received his MBA in 1956 from Cornell as well. US Army Korean War Veteran. Mr. Moore was a financial executive in the computer industry, having worked for IBM and Xerox. He retired in 1998 and was still working as a consultant. Mr. Moore was a former member of the Needham Finance Committee, was a town meeting member, was very active with the Charles River ARC and was a member of St. Bartholomew Parish. Mr. Moore spent the last 22 years of his life doing the work he loved best of all; being "Pop," beloved grandfather of his grandchildren.
