My sincere condolences to the boys, the siblings, the rest of the Basque family and Janet. I just found this out while trying to put together a ski trip to Utah, something we had just not been able to coordinate over the years. From that day 29 years ago when we met applying for jobs while being ski bums in Rutland VT, to the great winter we had, to the other adventures we had as young adults, we always had a great time.

It's been a number of years since I worked with Peter, but I will always remember his cheerful & sunny demeanor. His passing is an abrupt and terrible loss, and I wish his family and friends peace & solace though this difficult time.

I knew Peter for over 10 years. I had the upmost respect and trust for him. He was always entused and positive in his approach to me as his customer. I will miss him. May this be a time to rejoice in the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Janet and Peter were a match made in heaven, and so to heaven they will reunite someday. I loved being around Peter, his laughter was contagious. When we had stress in our lives, Peter was fundemental in showing us that life was more important than anything else. Although he was taken from us far too early, we were priveledged to have known him at all. My best regards to his children and Janet. Life is too short, live it to the fullest! He was a great example for us all.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Basque family and Janet. Peter was one of my best friends since we were 15 years old. We never lost touch. I remember so many things about Peter. All the fun times and how he was always there for me. His laugh was the best. It was contagious. Skiing with Peter was one of my fondest memories. Peter may have been here for only a short time, but he knew how to live! He was a kind, unselfish person who would help anyone in need. This is such sad news. My deepest, sincerest condolences to his family. I worked with Peter at Digital from 1988 to 1994, and then kept loosely in touch after that. He will truly be missed and touched many people.

I worked with Peter as soon as he joined DEC. He was a great friend and we often would visit even after I left to go to another job. I often thought of him over the years and wish I had contacted him more often. He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Janet and all of the Basque family. We are so sad to learn of your loss. Although, we only had the pleasure of knowing Peter from vacation time at the Pool, it was great to do the catching and have Peter do the cooking. The fried striped bass bits were fabulous.

Peter was a great co-worker and a better friend. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him both in and out of work. My family will forever cherish memories of the weekend we spent with Peter and Janet in Vermont this summer - just a fantastic time.

My thoughts and prayers are with Janet, Peter's family, and all of his amazing group of friends. Peter and I worked together at both Digital and Analog Devices. Not only was he an amazing engineer, he was a real person, a kind soul, a fun guy, and a ray of hope to all. He will be sorely missed, the fun skiing trips, his great cooking and how he could fry up anything in his fryer, his laugh. I'm so sad for us all.

Dear Peter,
I will always treasure the memory of that St. Patrick's day, when some of us at ADI took the day off to go skiing. I vividly remember following you closely on the powdery slopes, as you carved perfect quick turns, in impeccable style, kicking up snow in my face. I was marveling at how good you were, and how much fun and special it was to share this moment with you.
Your attitude about work, play, and life in general, was contagious.
Whether at work or tearing it up on a ski slope, you will be sorely missed.
May your family and friends find solace, comfort and peace, in the memories they share with you and eachother.
