John "Cal" Laurenza

Of Everett, on Nov. 6th. Loving husband of Jennie (Battaglino) for 49 years. Devoted and loving father of Denise Pennington and her husband Mike of CO, Marie Edwards of Everett, Carol Lydon and her husband Jim of S. Boston, Linda O'Malley and her husband Butch of Everett, John, Jr. and his wife Kerry of Peabody, Anthony of Everett, and the late Jennifer. Brother of Dan and the late Mike, Frank, and Joe Laurenza. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Sat., Nov 10th at 9AM. Funeral Mass Immaculate Conception Church, Everett at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. John was a 37 year member of the I.U.O.E. Local 4 and a foreman for Everett City Highway Department. He was an avid sports fan. He was also a Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean Conflict.
