Roman Carl Meshon

Of Sudbury, September 17, 2007, unexpectedly, in a surfing accident in Kochi, Japan. Beloved son of Dr. Steve Meshon and Nancy Meshon and loving brother of Ben Meshon of Sudbury. Beloved husband of Chie Namba to whom he married August 26, 2007, three weeks before Roman's death. Survived by aunts, Gwen Hagebak of Denver, CO and Carole Molish of Jenkintown, PA and first cousins, Kristin Hagebak of Denver, CO and Randy Cook of Cherry Hill, NJ, along with extended Japanese family, mother-in-law, Chiomi Namba, sister-in-law, Chic's sister, Kaori Namba and her husband, Motoaki, and their two children, Suzuka and Yota, and Chie's uncles, Akishige Naniba and Takashi Namba and their families. Roman had a large number of friends and admirers in the U.S., in Japan, and elsewhere abroad. There is a memorial service Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, 107 Concord Road, Wayland, MA.
