I miss my uncle Donald everyday! He was wise, and witty! If he were alive today, he and I would be glued to MSNBC and texting all day about electing Kamala Harris the next President of the United States. Rest in power Donald!

Donald would be glued to the news about this election - hoping and praying that his grandchildren would not grow up in a world of the kind of hatred one of the presidential candidates spreads. Bless you Donnie, please sit down with the powers that be in heaven and save us all. Miss you

Barbara,
We were heartbroken to learn yesterday of Donald’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
I (Tom) have great memories of working with Don at NEC. It was also such a treat to cross paths as fellow innkeepers at the Washington, DC PAII conference and to continue that friendship here on the Cape and in Florida. Our fun times at dinner and the theater can never be duplicated. We feel honored to have known Donald and to have been able to call him a true friend. It is also a very special memory that you and Don were at our home for dinner a couple of days before his illness was diagnosed.
Wishing you time for your heart to heal.

Mary I am so sorry for your loss and understand its impact on your life. I too had a uncle that was special to me and felt a deep loss when he passed away. I was fortunate to inherit something special of his that I placed in my home. Each time I pass it I think of him and all the wonderful times we had.
We all have a limited time on this earth. I am glad you had wonderful experiences with him and will have fond memories. Thinking of you :)D

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We met Don several times as friends of his niece, Mary. He was a wonderful man and a great Uncle to Mary. We remember spending time with him as we all helped Mary get elected president of the American Nurses Association in Indianapolis. He had a great sense of humor and was very caring of his family.

Barbara, Karen, Jennifer & family,
I was saddened to read about Don this morning.
Donald was a positive influence in my life. When I was in the early stages of recovery from my illness, Don and his family were very supportive.
I'm know there are others who were impacted by Don when he in lived in Newton. He is well thought of and still mentioned by those he helped.
Sincerely,
Rick K.
