Rita McDonough Obituary

Of East Sandwich, formerly of Roslindale and South Boston, died peacefully Nov. 7, 2007. She was a 1937 graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy and Burdett Jr. College. Former employee at South Boston Army Base. Wife of the late Staff Sergeant Daniel J. McDonough. Survived by 6 children: Katherine McDonough of Boston, Eileen M. Toland of Stoughton, Timothy J. McDonough, East Sandwich, Geraldine A. Hanrahan, East Sandwich, Daniel M. McDonough, Plymouth, Patrick D. McDonough, San Francisco. She was predeceased by a son, Michael F. McDonough, a sister, Sr. Victorice Fitchett, CSJ and a brother James Fitchett. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Visitation 4-8pm Monday at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, SANDWICH. Funeral Mass 11am Tuesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, E. Sandwich. Burial VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
