Chic:
You will always be remembered at Sunset Bay. You always had a big smile and a sense of humor. You loved to read and "traveled the world over" in your books. May you rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Leatrice Bane & Patrick Venuti

Mr. McDonough,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USCG during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

God Bless you at this difficult time.Chic has touched so many lives, and will be missed dearly. I am glad he touched my life as well as my family. I will miss his smile and the way he and my Dad had some Fosters every now and then up the lake.

Dearest Syl, Our thoughts are with you. We will always remember looking for a glimpse of Chic as we turned into our Sunset Bay driveway. Would he be there basking in the warm sun drinking a Dunkin Donuts coffee, reading the paper in front of Unit 1? If he was, we would be certain to receive a warm greeting and a sense that he was glad to see us. Once we added Scout to our family, we knew Chic was very happy to see us because he would be all smiles as he greeted this crazy little beagle. And Scout loved Chic too. He always can sense a good person, the tail going a mile a minute. Chic brought out the best in Scout, it was a mutual admiration society. Syl, I loved the way you called Chic, "Hon". He was a honey of a man, kind and warm and appreciative of the beauty of our "Little piece of Heaven". Now he is with the angels in heaven, probably out in a smart little runabout seeing how fast they can leave the Heavenly Marine Patrol in their dust. You are in our hearts. Much love Don and Sue and Scout
