Mildred Stella Obituary

In Kingston, age 88, died Nov. 9, 2007 at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Formerly of Halifax and Norwell, she was the devoted wife of David Charles Stella of Halifax. Mildred was the loving mother of David C. Stella Jr. and his wife Paula of Titusville, FL, Kenneth Stella and his wife Mary of Vershire, VT, Michael Stella and his wife Sindy of Boston, MA, Patricia Schmidt and her husband Roland of Falmouth, MA, and M.J. Toohey and her husband Dennis of Cambridge, MA. She was beloved sister of Roy Goyette of Oakland, FL, Half sister to Jeanne Malthrus and her husband Paul of Archer, FL and Step-sister to Peggy Ericksson of Duxbury, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of 19 and leaves numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stella enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending quality time at her summer home in Plymouth for over 55 years. The funeral will take place on Wednesday morning from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St Plymouth at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church in Plymouth at 11 A.M. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home from 9-10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, MA. Donations in her memory may be made to the West River Care (Hospice), P.O. I'm deeply sadden to hear of the passing of Mildred. She was a wonderful women and I consider it a privledge to have known her. My thoughts and prayer are with your family in this time of sorrow. My deepest sorrow goes out to her beloved Husband David who was always there for his dearest wife and soulmate Mildred. I will always remember David putting Mildred first for everything and anything even when it came to cutting up her meals for her, their love was deep and true love is forever! My heart goes out to all, especially you David. You will be together again in heaven and forever in eternity! God Bless You!
