Barbara A. Spiri

Of Framingham, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Sunday, November 11, 2007. Wife of 51 years to Guy J. Spiri, Deacon at St. Stephen Church, Framingham. Daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Nash) Kenna. Mother of Elizabeth M. Spiri of Framingham, Kelly F. Spiri and his wife Dawn L. of Milford, Barbara A. and Mary D. Spiri both of Framingham. Grandmother of Ginamarie E. and Cameron J. Spiri, both of Milford. Also survived by her brother Charles Kenna and his wife Catherine of Albany, NY, her sister-in-law Angela Small and her husband James of Herkimer, NY and several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Kathleen Miller and Robert Kenna who was MIA in the U.S. Army during WWII. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, at 10 AM in St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St., Rt. 126, Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours St. Stephen Church will be Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) FRAMINGHAM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St., Framingham, MA 01702. Graduate of Little Falls High School, NY. Lunch aide in Framingham school system for many years. Supported her husband's Diaconate Formation and continued support for ministry in the Church. CCD Teacher at St. Anselm in Sudbury, former neighborhood chair of Girl Scouts.
