Family and friends of Robin:
I had the honor of Robin's friendship from 1972-appx 1980, we were teenagers. And for those who remember those years, they were the best of years. Our paths drifted away, not sure why, some just do. However the memory has never faulted. Her sense of humor, strengh and ethic remain with me to this day. The early years of playing tennis at Patten Park, days on end. Going off to Basketball camp the summer of '72, riding Mom's blue bike with the basket - all over town and down stairs too (old Hamilton Jr High - out back). Then on to driving Dad's Red pick-up to the boat ramp, No dad we didn't go there. Hot summer nights and many laughs. Robin taught me how to drink from the boot she brought back from Germany, off course that was after I sloshed myself with backlash -- much more laughter. That's about when we started with the name Dobin Rolliver. Then our paths separated.
It seems like years ago, I had heard the battle had begun. I kept you in my thoughts and prayers. I had always hoped our paths would cross again, I guess not in this lifetime maybe next.
I will be away from the area on Saturday the 17th, much to my dismay. I believe in final farewells. I believe things happen for a reason (though this one is challenging). I believe one lives on forever in the hearts of loved ones, in the sparkel of their eyes, in tears of sorrow and laughter.
Rockin Robin, you have been and will continue to be in my heart and soul forever. Love, Clarkie
(Beth Clark - Bartosiewicz)
P.S. And all those times we sang and danced to the Rockin Robin song....and FreeBird.....
God bless.
