Alfred Horowitz Obituary

Formerly of Springfield, Peabody and Milford, MA. Entered into rest November 12, 2007. Devoted father of Aren & Joan Horowitz of Albuquerque, NM and Noah & Jessica Horowitz of Sharon, MA. He was the proud grandfather of Miriam, Simon, Eli, Nathan, and Jonathan Horowitz. Mr. Horowitz was a long time employee of Cressey Dockham Co. of Andover, MA. In 1979, he opened the Milford Taylor Rental Center, which he owned until 1993. Mr. Horowitz was a World War II veteran. He was a past president of the American Rental Assoc of MA, past chairman of the Milford Senior Center, and past SHINE representative for Blackstone Valley. He was an officer and board member of Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody, MA, Cong. Beth Israel and Temple Beth Shalom in Milford, MA. Services will be at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St, CANTON on Weds. Nov 14th at 12 Noon. Memorial week will be observed at the home of Noah & Jessica Horowitz. Mr. Horowitz,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
