Hi Nunnie,

I cant believe its been almost an entire year. I love and miss you so much, i think about you everyday and you are in my prayers and thoughts constantly. You taught me so much and have seen me grow in your shadows. College was harder without being able to call you or hear from you when i just wanted to give nunnie a call, Especially when mom didnt know what to do with me if i was sick and away at school. Getting through school has been tough but i have been keeping in touch constantly with Papa, my cousins, aunts, and uncles, just like you would have wanted. I love you dearly and miss you terribly. I cried today, but i know because you have told me, theres work to do tomorrow. Forever in my heart.

Love your Granddaughter,

Brittany

Nunnie,
Where do I begin? What can and grandson possibly begin to say about a grandmother who has given him so much over the course of is life. You have instilled in me a set of values and morality that have helped shape the person I have become. You showed me what it meant to be strong, you brought new meaning to the term, and you become a beacon of all that was perseverance and hope in our family. The gifts you have given span far beyond my comprehension. First and foremost you gave me your love, more love and support then I could have ever possibly imagined; and then of course there are the little things, those teachings and lessons you instilled in me when I was very young and made no sense then but are all to prominent and potent now. Perhaps most importantly you gave me my mom, no formulation of words will ever be able to summarize what she means to me and how thankful I am for that. I see your strength in her, your sense of humor in her, and your selflessness in her. If I can look back on my life some years from now and say that I have walked through this world with half your strength, and passion for live and everything about it I will count myself truly blessed and will have led a good life if you ask me. Knowing you I don’t think you want want me to say goodbye, so I’ll see you later for now. I will miss you forever and there wont be a day that goes by that I don’t think of you whether I know it or not. I love you Nunnie, I miss you, and I will see you later.
Stephen

Hey Nan-

It is your oldest grandchild struggling with reality that you are gone. I MISS YOU SO MUCH ALREADY! I just wanted to say a few things, you are and always have been one of the biggest INSPIRATIONS in my life. Your strength, kindess, love, and will to fight as long as you did was amazing! I am so glad that I was able to spend time with you and we had a great dinner on Tuesday. I smile whenever I think about all the fun times we had. SO so many. You have always been like a second mother to me and such a great big part of my life. Always there with unconditional love and support most of all. You have given me so much in my 31 years. I will always remember coming home from school down the rocky road and when I was sick we'd hang out and watch General Hospital. You were so much of my chid-hood and I admire you for the million of AMAZING qualities you possess. You have given us an incredible family one who is forced to go on without you but you will forever be in our hearts, minds and with us in SPIRIT! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NAN. You are the strongest person I know a true WARRIOR. The nurse in you has always shines through and I know how proud you were that Lisa chose to follow in your footsteps and she is going to do just that. She is so proud as we all are of her and grateful that she was able to help do for you what you dedicated your whole live to CARING and loving all of us so much! Rest in peace Nan and know you were a blessing to us all. I am so thankful that I had you in my life for as long as I did and many, many memories to reflect on. All my love, Julie.
