Richard Power Obituary

Of Naples, FL, formerly of Hingham, MA, November 12, 2007. Beloved husband of Susan (Hess) Power and the late Jean (Morrison) Power. Devoted father of Lisa Power McGillis of Great Falls, VA, Lauren Power Lane of Hanover, David Power of Marblehead, Kimberly Power Phillips of Norwell, Julie Dobson of Boston, and Melanie Dobson of Boston. Loving brother of the late John Power. Cherished grandfather of Anna, Mollie, Emma, Kelsey, Matthew, Benjamin, Clara, Eleanor, Georgia, and Nolan. After graduating from Williams College in Williamstown, MA, he served in the US Army. Rick retired from Dunkin' Donuts after 25 years as a Senior Vice President. Rick was a member of the Cohasset Golf Club and the Club at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL. He enjoyed golfing, reading, and traveling. Most of all, Rick was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation hours will be held at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, MA on Thursday, November 15 between the hours of 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass at the Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St., Hingham, on November 16 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rick Power may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105. As a guest at the Pelican Bay Country Club I shared a table with Rick only a few times. It always was a most pleasurable experience and I remember him well. My deapest sympathy goes to all of the family for losing such a precious member.
