When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

God saw you getting tired,and a cure was not to be,so he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we
could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
This wonderful lady will be missed but she is happy now, for she is finally "Home".

I'll never forget her kind,warm smile and her toasty warm house while collecting paper route money when I was a kid. Those who knew her were lucky to have known her, and I'm sure she'll be missed.
