I was so saddened to hear of Mamie's passing. I have the fondest memories of her on Oakland St.She was always smiling and caring for her family. I can remember her standing at the door, that twinkle in her eye , always with a watchful eye on her children. And always with her faithful husband by her side. She was a remarkable women, her grandaughter said it best at her service, she was proud to have had her in her life. Thank you for some wonderful memories, we will miss you. Dear Fermino Family,
I am so saddened to her of Mamie's passing & we hold the deepest sympathy for your loss.
It's now fifty years since we became friends and neighbors on Oakland Street. Fifty years of lives mingled and many shared memories. One of my favorites memories of Mamies was walking into her kitchen to find her and Ollie ironing sheets! To me, a then five year old who hardy slept on them, let alone seen anyone ironing, was most amazing. I have often thought how lucky her family has been for her to put such loving care into their everyday lives. Mamie will forever be remembered for her kindred spirit and with great fondness. May the memories you shared with her bring you peace and comfort today.
In love and sympathy,
JoAnne, Vinnie, Johnathan & Josh Woll
