When we were looking to move in at the JCHE,
Sophie was the first one to invite us into her apartment to see what they looked like.
Since then Sophie and my wife were friends.
Sophie was quiet, always well groomed and
personable person.
She always was cooking for her family.
She always said hello to everyone.
We will always remember her.
With our love to Sophie where ever she is.

I met Sophie once, at my wedding, 31 years ago. She is a distant relative and knew my grandmother back in Russia. I spoke to Sophie a few times in recent years and each conversation I had with her was pure joy. She told me about family members from the Boston area and I shared photos of my family with her as well as photos of her at my wedding. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

As a distant relative, Sophie was tremendously kind to sit down with me and review the family history. Even at an advanced age, she was involved and interesting. She will be missed.
