At a critical point in my teen years, Bob was the only true father-figure I had in my life. I will forever remember and be grateful for his guidance, incredible generosity and loving and caring nature. There will never be anyone like him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Evangelistas.

I'm very sad to hear about Mr Evangelista. He was such a nice man and his love for his wife children and grandchildren was evident in every conversation I ever had with him. Many happy memories of the little store on Pleasant St. when I was a teenager. He will be remembered fondly whenever I pass through Pleasant St.
