Virginia Giacobbe Obituary

Of Nashua, NH. Died Fri. Nov. 16, 2007 in Nashua. Beloved wife of Louis J. Giacobbe and daughter of the late Patrick and Gertrude (Hartman) Curran was born in Boston on Sept. 1, 1933. Virginia served St. Mary's Parish in Chelmsford as a religious education teacher for 20+ years. Virginia was proud of her faith and extremely active in the Catholic community. She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Louis Giacobbe of Newton and Paul and Maureen Giacobbe of Townsend. 2 daughters and sons-in-law; Stephanie and Stephen Bottcher of Londonderry, NH and Mary Giacobbe and her husband John Gonsalves of Pepperell. 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visiting Hours will be on Mon. Nov. 19th from 6-8pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., HUDSON, NH. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. Nov. 20th at 9am in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 999 W. Hollis St., Nashua. All To Meet At Church. Burial will be in the St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua. I was privileged to have known Ginny for ~30 years. She was steadfast in her beliefs and convictions based on her boundless faith. We will carry her wisdom forever in our hearts and always miss her!
