Dear Herb, I am saddened to hear of Arlene's passing. I didn't know until I heard her name read at services at Temple Beth Am. I was there as it now has been a year since Barbara passed away. Dear Herb,
Although I moved to S. California twenty years ago, I continue to
read the Town Crier online. I was saddened to learn that Arlene passed away. She was an extraordinary partner and role model. I am so sorry for your loss.
It seems impossible that it was forty years ago that you began your practice on Old Connecticut Path; first hiring my sister Kyle part-time, then my mother Millie full-time and (a pregnant)me part-time. Over the years, you and Arlene were with our family through good times and bad. Please know that we are with you in spirit now.

Dear Dr. Stacks, Kenny and Susie,
I wanted to express my deepest condolences and fondest memories of Mrs. Stacks. I am sorry that I was unable to be with you in this period of mourning, but I have, in my own way, been remembering her. Her life has been a blessing to me and to my family, and, even in her passing, I carry forward my fond memories of her as part of my character. She was a role model, a friend, a teacher and a source of light. I have known Mrs. Stacks (how I called her) virtually my entire life, and for all this time, she has been the best friend our family ever had. She has been there for us in our best times and supported us in the most difficult times. I have never known anyone more caring or more giving, and your loss is, most certainly, a loss we all feel very deeply. I wish you all the best as you deal with this difficult time. I hope it brings you comfort that you, and all of us, mourn the loss of a person who left a legacy of love, friendship and kindness. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to have known her. We will all truly miss her.

Arlene was a shining light to me and my family. May you Herb, Kenny & Susan find comfort in knowing how missed and loved our Arlene will be. We will all miss her terribly but she will be looking down on everyone for she was and is a true angel!! Our one of a kind.... : )

Suzie, Kenny & Herbie, so so sad to hear the loss of you wife and mom. She was one of the classiest, warm, wonderful woman I ever knew. I felt she was my aunt and I know how loved this magnifiscant woman was. A great loss,, our thoughts love and sympathy are with all of you.
