On behalf of my mother Auntie katie and sister Pam, I would like to say that we were extremly sadden to hear of the loss of a beloved family member.
Although it had been some time since we have had any news from Boston our thoughts and prayers have always been with The entire Grassa Family.
She was our Auntie Fanny and we loved her very much. Our trips to Boston when we were growing up would have never been so memorable if we did not spend time with our Uncle Peter, Aunt Fanny and cousins Nicky and Louie.
Just landing at Logan was always a treat because we knew that the entire Grassa family including extended family would be there to greet us. Even if it was the 1 a.m. flight! I don’t think there was ever a trip that did not include spending time at the home in Sommerville. To us Floridians, going to visit you ment roaming a 3 story home! Basements were the best part of that adventure. I remember how proud Uncle Peter was to show off the basement. As I recall we played a few games of Pool donw there. Those are some of the memories we have and I wanted to share them.
I would like to say that her family in Florida misses her dearly as well as all our Aunts, Uncles and cousins that have passed away. We will always remember the summers we spent in East Boston visiting. My sister Pam and I were very young but our memories are still with us like it was yesterday!
Auntie Fanny was by far the sweetest, happiest and most loving Aunt there was. RIP Auntie Fanny and know your Florida family will never forget you........
Love ,
Cousin Andrea

Dear Louis,
I am so very sorry about the passing of your mother. I remember all the fun times we had with Mom, P.G. and my mother in your back yard for many family bbq's. My fondest memories of your mother and father was at the tail gate parties at Foxboro watching her beloved Patriots. Unfortunately, time takes away all our fun times but it will never take away our memories of our parents. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all of us. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to you always.
Love,
Anthony Ranieri
