Of South Boston, November 18, 2007. Beloved son of the late William and Mary (Nee) Carroll. Loving brother of his twin Anna Lanza of Mattapan, Claire Haugh and her husband Edward of Quincy, Patricia Carroll of South Boston, Fr. John Carroll, SSJ of Washington, DC and the late Mary Curran, Rita Sullivan and William Carroll. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret (Donovan) Carroll of Beverly. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews. Funeral from The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON, Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church Saturday at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Late member of the Castle Island Association and Lector at Gate of Heaven Church. Retired employee of the Mitre Corporation, WWII Navy Veteran.
