Donald Bennett Obituary

Of Cambridge, on November 23, 2007, at Newton Wellesley Alzheimer's Center, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. Falsey; his children: Peter M. Bennett and his wife Maria Caracino of Watertown, Marcus C. Bennett of Rocky Point, New York, Tanya S. Bennett Zipes and her husband Louis Zipes of Cambridge; his grandchildren Maximilian Ferrante Bennett of Watertown and Samuel Darwin Zipes of Cambridge; his brother Malcolm J. Bennett and his wife Margaret Bennett of Derry, New Hampshire, their daughters Trina DeBoe and Laura Bennett and their families; his cousins Susan Wolkon, Marjorie Leonard, Esta Grocer, Dorothy Gottleib and their families; his sisters-in-law Barbara, Susan, and Sarah Falsey and their families; and numerous friends and fellow musicians. Graveside Services at the Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Ave., Cambridge, on Tuesday, November 27 at 12:30 PM. Memorial Observance Tuesday only, following the interment until 8:00 PM, at his late residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donald's name to The Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472 (800-272-3900, http://www.alz.org/ma/).
