Dearest Carla,
I have so many fond memories of Uncle Leo. When we were children the family Christmas eve celebration was not complete until Uncle Leo arrived. He was always so happy, lovingly greeting all of us. When my Nana was in the nursing home, he visited her often, always bringing her a special treat. She loved these visits and told me about them each time he came to see her. I saw him last when Nana was in the hospital before she died. He wasn't feeling well himself, however made certain he came to cheer her up. I was so happy to see him then. I am so grateful to have had a chance to speak with him when he was in the hospital. I hope he found peace before passing. His passing is the end of family legacy. He was the last of a strong family.

My heart aches for you Carla. I wish you solace in the lifetime of memories you have of this special man. Love Lorraine (Mazza) Shepard

Dear Carla, Tony and family,
Uncle Leo was a special man that led a wonderful and fortunate life. All of his desires became reality for him, he did it all. I remember talking to him shortly before his 90th birthday and he was telling me about his work out schedule...deep knee bends etc. These are the types of memories that will remain with me. WHAT A GUY!!
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Our Uncle is in good hands now.
It may be hard to believe but someday you will think of him and you will smile. I promise.
We love you all.
