Robert Kimball Obituary

Age 84, a long time resident of Hanover, NH, died on November 20th, at home in Tucson, AZ. Born in Melrose, MA on July 13, 1923, the only child of Grenville White and Sarah Young Kimball, Bob was Class of `46 at Dartmouth College, served in the Naval Air Corps, and graduated from the Amos Tuck School of Business `48. Married to Jacqueline Winship on September 13, 1947, Bob was employed by BF Goodrich Co. while living in Lynnfield, MA. In 1963, they and their four daughters moved to Hanover, NH where he became Asst Dean at the Tuck School, and later the first Director of Conferences at Dartmouth. Bob and Jackie recently moved to Tucson, AZ. Bob was a loving husband, father to Holly, Susan, Patty and Sandy, and grandfather to eight wonderful grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in Hanover, NH at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College on Monday, November 26 at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College or to the Sphinx Senior Society Centennial Fund, PO Box 213, Hanover, NH 03755.

Mr. Kimball,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
