William F. Mottla

November 25, 2007, age 79, resident of Lexington since 1956. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (White) Mottla for 55 years. Mr. Mottla grew up in Cambridge, graduated from Cambridge Rindge & Latin and was the son of Italian immigrants, Anthony L. Mottla and Louisa (Ricci) Mottla. He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister. Mr. Mottla held a Degree in Transportation from Northeastern University, working in the industry for over 50 years, and retiring as a Director from Viking Freight Systems of San Jose, CA in 1996. He is survived by his three children: William F. Mottla, Jr. and his wife Pamela; Christopher P. Mottla and his wife Lisa and Lesley A. Mottla and her husband Tim. He was the adoring grandfather to Zachary, Avery, and Ethan Mottla, and Rafer Gardner. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 30 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road, LEXINGTON at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
