Of South Boston, November 26, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Feeney) Sheehan. Son of the late Timothy and Elizabeth (Horgan) Sheehan. Loving father of Richard Sheehan and his wife Maria of Easthaven, CT, Barbara Coyne and her husband Kevin of S. Boston, Mary Sheehan of S. Boston, Timothy Sheehan & his wife Kathleen of S. Boston, John Sheehan of Medford and Joyce Sheehan and Doug Ames of S. Boston. Dear brother of the late John, Joseph, Leo and George Sheehan, Margaret "Peg" McEvoy, Estelle Nichols, Virginia "Ginger" Crowe, Lawrence and Francis Sheehan. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren, also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St, SOUTH BOSTON, Friday at 10:00AM. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8PM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Richard's memory to Evercare Hospice, 950 Winter Street, Suite 4830, Waltham, MA 02451.

I am so sorry to hear about loss of your father Richard.
The Sheehan family has gone through so much with the recent loss of your mother Barbara too.
My heart and prayers go out to all of you.
Your dad was always a kind soul, I remember he would come to the Kenndey house always fixing somthing when we were younger.
He had a heart of gold.
