Lawrence Poor Obituary

Of So. Boston passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at the North End Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Somerville July 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Stephen and Vera Poor. He is the brother of Joanne Gertz of FL, Michael Minchello of FL, Philip Poor of Bedford, Frederick Poor of Rockland, Mary Miano of Billerica, Denise White of Chelmsford, Stephanie Smith of Andover & the late Stephen and William Poor. Lawrence was a member & Elder of the Fourth Presbyterian Church, 340 Dorchester St., South Boston, MA where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PARTNERS Hospice, 281 Winter St. Ste. 200, Waltham, MA 02451

I was so sad to hear about Larry. I remember him so much when you first came to Bingham School. I will light a candle in his remeberence. Bless you all and your family.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of your brother, Larry. I have such fond remembrances of him from our high school days. His incredible smile, the constant twinkle in his eye will remain with me always.

Please extend to all within the Poor family my most sincere regrets. You and your family, along with Larry, will continue to hold a special place in my thoughts and prayers.
