Dear Norman & Family:
I am so sorry to learn about Jamie's passing. I just finished watching "The Truth About Cancer" and was shocked to realize that it was your Jamie. I only met Jamie once when I worked for you at Boston Mutual but I remember her. I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you.

I just finished watching "The Truth About Cancer," and I was so impressed by Jamie's grace and courage. My father-in-law died of pancreatic cancer two years ago, so I have some first-hand experience with this horrible disease. Jamie's willingness to share her experiences (as well as the willingness of you, her family and friends) will undoubtedly help many others who are dealing with cancer. I hope the knowledge that this show will do such good will bring you some comfort in your loss.

I watched the PBS special "The Truth About Cancer" several times now. I'm always drawn to Jamie's strength and direct outlook on her illness. She truly seemed like a wonderful person and I am very sorry that she passed. I would like her to know that I do, in fact, apply the term "cancer survivor" to those who did not survive. Her resolve and determination make her an inspiration to everyone, but me especially.

First I would like to give you my heart felt sympathy for your lost of Jamie. I saw her in the PBS Special and she appeared to be a loving person with kindness that showed though. My step daughter also died from pancreas cancer on Sept 9. 2007. I seen so much of her in Jamie's, a willingness to share her disease but gusto for fighting it to the end. It has helped my son; that couldn't be there for his sister at the end, understand a little more what went on for the rest of the family and his sister. I can never thank-you so much for Jamie and your family for doing this. Her spirit lives on and she is still toucing peoples lives. Sincerely my best to your family.

I do not know Jamie or her family. I learned of her and her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer while watching the PBS documentary about cancer that aired on April 17, 2008. Jamie and her family took part in the documentary. My heart-felt condolences and prayers go out to her family and others whose lives were touched by Jamie.
I HATE cancer. It is evil and indiscriminate, affecting whomever it chooses to affect seemingly without cause or reason.
My Mother died of pancreatic cancer 4 years ago, so I know of the extraordinary heartache that you all feel. It is a heartache that I still carry with me. I love and miss my Mom VERY much.
I will continue to think of your family and the countless others that are affected by cancer. Furthermore, I will pray that there will be a day when cancer is only a memory. Please keep my family and others whose lives have been changed because of cancer in your thoughts as well.
God Bless,
Matt B.

I saw Jamie on the PBS special and was in awe of her honesty and bravery. She undoubtedly lived her last days with grace and courage, something we must all hope for. My mother is now living her last days, and she is living in this way, too. Perhaps that is why Jamie impressed me so much. May Jamie's memory be a blessing for you.

I have just finished watching "The Truth About Cancer". Your daughter Jamie touched us very much in the telling of her struggle to fight this horrible disease of cancer. I recently lost my sister to leiomyosarcoma and have a brother struggling with bone cancer. You have given me insight in to their daily struggle. I truly wish I could have been with my sister as she fought for only 10 months. I cannot believe she faced this practically alone. Jaime rests now and suffers no more.

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Jamie's passing. We had grown very close during our elementary school years, and remained close through high school. I knew her to be a bright and warm person who was full of life. Although we had drifted apart, I still feel a tremendous sense of loss. Please accept my deepest and sincerest sympathies.

To all -
Like anyone who met Jamie, we are so saddened by her passing. We did not know Jamie as long as her loving immediate and extended family, or the countless friends she made along the way(in MA or U of Rochester). However, it was pretty easy to figure out that she brought so much joy to everyone around her(family/friends). Seeing her interact with Nicole, Jessica, Erika, Alex, and Sydney...(and Ginger)....and on a few occasions with our kids, she was so warm, bright, funny and real.
Jamie was truly a special person. We are all richer for knowing her.
Love,
Bob, Aleta, Benjamin and Emily Sneider
