Steve, Jeanne & Sue,
A person lives on when an imprint of who they are stamps deeply in your heart. Ethel Ball was that type of person. In my mind I can vividly see your mom in her kitchen cooking, caring and permetating her love to those around her. Ethel had a presence when she entered a room - her energy was contagious. Heaven had to carve a vast space for her magnanimous soul.

Dear Steve and Family,
How happy your Mom must be! At this time we can be so thankful for our Christianity. How else could we handle the death of someone we loved so dearly, and especially our dear mother? You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Susan, Stephen, Jeanne, and the rest of the Ball family and friends,
I knew Ethel well when I was a young person. Then, after a gap of several decades, I resumed contact with her through correspondence in the last couple of years.
Whether the elapsed time was a day or a decade, Ethel was the type of person for whom friendships are forever. Once we resumed contact, she was a faithful correspondent and a caring, thoughtful friend. I will miss hearing from her.
My condolences go out to the whole family. I know that Susan and Scott, in particular, looked after her daily care with dedication and love, which is a blessing.
