I WONDERED HOW GOD COULD BE SO CRUEL AS TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM US....BUT I WAS WRONG...GOD IS TRULY KIND...ALTHOUGH I WISH HE HAD GIVEN YOU MORE TIME....HE SPARED YOU ANY SUFFERING AND ANY PAIN...AND MADE SURE YOU WILL FOREVER "WALK IN SUNSHINE, NEVER IN RAIN"...NEXT TIME THAT I PRAY, I WILL MAKE SURE I THANK HIM FOR EVERY DAY...AS YOU TRAVELED UP THE "GOLDEN LANE TO MEET THE MAN WITH THE THIN HAIR"... to our father i have met many a person in my life who have had a bad family life or situation.i just want to say that i have never met another man other than my grandfather that would love his children as deeply as you did.i will always remember every moment of our lives with love/happiness and caring that you showed to us children on a daily basis.they have fathers of the year but you are the father of my life.i will try to walk in your footsteps as much as possible because you have shown me that that it the proper way to go. love forever your son WAYNE

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during the Cold War aboard the aircraft carrier USS Essex(CVS-9). And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
