Dear Rod, Val, Patty, Steve, and Nancy,

Mom told me of your Mom's passing. What a great woman. I have so many memories of her from taking us all to McDonalds to her screaming at us Sunday morning to shut up (it was the only time she could sleep). One of my first memories was her and Jack coming to the house because Sid was beating up Rod. Who knew how big Rod would get and how close Mom and Dad would be to her after that. Of course we can't forget the time she went to pick Patty up after her infamous Sherry Christmas party, driving right up to the cash register at Wegman's. Recently, I always looked forward to seeing her at Highland Beach. However, she never did pay up on the time I beat her in backgammon, and I have to chuckle the time she told ME I was INTIMIDATING!!! She was so kind to my children and loved painting Sandy's toe nails. She will be truly missed by all.

You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives but I would pick Barbara as my cousin or my friend any day and she was both to me. Her warmth and love and laughter was felt by all who knew her. We will miss her as all of you will. Sincerely, Lynne York Bloomberg, Newport Beach, Ca.

To the entire Robertson Family; especially, Nancy~ having lived only a few houses away from you in Pittsford on Rippingale Road, I heard so many nice words about your mother; yet, I never knew her. That will always be my loss. However, Nancy, I know you and if you hold even a trace of her spirit, she must have been wonderful. I am sorry for this loss to your world. I hope your aching heart heals as quickly as the smile appeared on your mom’s face as people arrived for her Christmas parties. Take care and God Bless.

Rod, Nora & kids:

While we didn't have the pleasure of knowing Barb (except for Dan's quick dip in the pool on the Cape one a hot August afternoon) we have the benefit of her legacy, your family to gauge her love of life, integrity and sense of family.

All the best to you all,

Love Dan & Ann Marie

I was so blessed to have known Barbara! She was so full of life and a very gracious hostess! The weeks I spent on the Cape in her home, with her family, are some of my fondest memories! She will live on in her family and friends as we embrace life the way she did. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Val, Glenn, Katie, Rae and the entire Robertson Clan,

Count us as one of the many, many friends from Pittsburgh who have you in our prayers and thoughts. Some of us spent time with your Mom either on visits to Pittsburgh or at "Blue Horizon." She was so gracious and after every meeting I felt like I could call her "Mom." But, she preferred Barbara, and she will always be remembered. Love to all of you; may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I'm glad to have met Barb and to have played and lost a game of scrabble with her. (After losing to her I sent in my Kathy, the english professor, who actualy won a game against Barb.)
She will be missed because it isn't often you meet a person as full as life as Big Barb. May God be with her, and my deepest sympathies to Rod, Stevie, Nancy, John and the entire family.
