Sister Mary McKeown

A beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for 65 years, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Bethany Health Care Center, Framingham. Daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Green) McKeown. Sister of the late Robert, Henry, Daniel, Catherine Majewski, Arthur, William, Paul and Elizabeth. Survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth of Framingham and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, and great grandnephews. Formerly missioned at St. Ambrose, Dorchester; Immaculate Conception, Everett; St. Andrew, Forest Hills; Holy Name, West Roxbury; St. Mary, Dedham; Aquinas College, Newton; Newton Catholic, Newton; and as receptionist at Walnut Park Montessori, Newton. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Tuesday, December 4, 2007, 3:30-6:00 p.m. Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass. Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, FRAMINGHAM.
