Mr. Patukonis,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I was very sorry to hear of the death of your father, he was my neighbor on West 4th St., for many years, and always lend a helping hand to my home repairs and house problems, he was a good friend and gentleman. I will keep the Patukonis family in my prayers during this difficult time.
