Of Melrose, formerly of Cambridge, suddenly, December 2, 2007. Beloved wife of the late John Batten. Loving mother of John C. Batten and his wife Katie of Melrose and Joan Batten of Stoneham. Dear sister of Clara Morgan of Toronto, Canada, and the late Harold Martin. Cherished grandmother of John C. Batten, Jr. of Dracut, Phillip M. Batten of Billerica, Eileen C. Willett of Wilmington, Susan G. Budd of Blanding, UT, and Adam G. Cravo of Stoneham. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Thursday, December 6 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-6 PM.
