George E. Griffiths

88, of Needham, formerly of Wellesley and South Natick, died December 2, 2007. Husband of the late Beth (Ellison) Griffiths. Loving Father of Lee (Griffiths) Paul and her husband Steven of Newton and Lynne (Griffiths) Allen and her husband Richard of Mamaroneck, NY. Beloved Grandfather of Elizabeth and Benjamin Paul. Born in Chicago in 1919, Mr. Griffiths graduated from Northwestern University in 1941. Among other positions, Mr. Griffiths served as an Art Director at Dickie-Raymond and as Graphics Editor at Ginn & Co. Later in life he designed and hand silk-screened a line of note cards know as Taurus Prints. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.S. Waterman & Sons & Waring Funeral Home, 592 Washington St. (Rte. 16), WELLESLEY.
