Of Newton A native of County Laois, Ireland December 2, 2007. Beloved husband of 52 years to Margaret (McCarthy) Murray, also of Newton. Devoted and loving father of Thomas and his wife Maryellen of Scituate; Michael Jr. of Waltham; Kevin and his wife Gail of Westwood; Betty Ann and her husband Dan Liddell of Cazenovia, NY; Margaret and her husband Alan Norton of Scituate; Gerard and his wife Judith of Waltham; Robert and his wife Kathleen of Newton; and Deirdre and her husband Dan Wrixon of Newton. Mike was also a loving grandfather to 18 grandchildren and is survived by many nieces and nephews both here and in Ireland. Visiting hours at The McNamara Funeral Home, 460 Washington St. (At Lake Street) BRIGHTON Thursday 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton on Friday at 10:30 AM. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery.
