I am so shocked to have found Mr. Al on this list, while searching for someone else. I truly was blessed to have known him, if only for a short time. I was Mr. Al's Barber for several years here in Douglasville. I will miss him terribly. He always spoke of his family and how much he loved them. I am so sorry for their loss.

I was so surprised to hear the news that Al had passed away it feels like yesterday that I saw him at Maria’s wedding. I will miss him terribly, I have so many wonderful memories of him from North Conway, something I will treasure forever and that will always bring a smile to my face. My thoughts and prayers are with you (Marge), Chris and Derek. Lots of love, Rosebud!

I'll always remember Al from the Gorton's days. We were all so close then and had such fun together. I'm sorry we all lost touch. Parties at Castle Hill, Bruce Whilton's house and, of course, the Tavern. Many good memories.

Al was a good friend with a great personality and terrific sense of humor, Knowing him was a joy, and he has left behind wonderful memories for all who were lucky enough to know him. May God bless his family and comfort them in this time of grief.

We already miss you so much, but are so thankful to have had you as our very dear friend. I learned a lot from your generosity, sense of humor, and sense of loyalty to family - which included many of your friends as well. I'm really going to miss your stories. I gained a lot from our friendship, and my life has been enriched from your being in it. You were truly taken away from us too early. We miss you.
