Dear Patty and Joseph Pantone as well as the entire Burgess Family,

I would like to offer my deepest consolences to all of you in this time of sorrow. I had the honor of knowing Gerty from my days calling bingo at my temple. She was a remarkable woman that had an infectious smile and attitude. Always upbeat and enjoyed her time and boasted about her family. I will never forget her joy when she told me that Patty was going to work for the MBTA. And then her marriage to Joseph. Two remarkable people. There's an old saying in the Jewish religion..."Nothing is lost while great memories still linger in our hearts." Never lose those memories and always keep the good times in your hearts and souls.

Sincerely,
Wayne Freedman

Nana,
We would be writing for days if we were to describe all the ways in which you have touched us. We'll always remember the warm & welcoming atmosphere of your house, hanging out in the "parlor," and your contagious smile. There will always be a special place in our hearts for you and 20 Marlboro will never feel the same.
Love you always, Nana B.
