Of Dorchester December 5, 2007. Beloved wife of James M. Smith. Loving mother of Matthew J. and Lauren L. Vears both of Dorchester. Devoted daughter of Marielore (Roy) Foreman of Quincy and the late Joseph Foreman. Dear sister of John & his wife Nancy Foreman of Newton, Lorraine & her husband Steven Baldassari of Norfolk, Mary (Foreman) & her husband Roger Savard of Lowell, Paula & her husband Thomas Gleason of Braintree, Lisa & her husband Kevin Dooley of Cohasset. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER Sunday 2 to 6 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Gregory Church Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Lydia was a Reading Teacher at the Beethoven School, West Roxbury. Remembrances may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl., West, Fl. 6, Brookline, MA 02445. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
