Jean Cormier Obituary

Of Framingham, formerly of Lexington, passed away December 7, 2007. Devoted mother of Raymond J. Cormier, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Bolton, Nancy Cormier of Fall River, Michael P. Cormier and his wife Maryanne of Hanover, Barbara A. and her husband Paul Flaherty of Danville, N.H., and the late Elaine C. Dean. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Former wife of Raymond J. Cormier, Sr. of Quincy. Jean graduated from Brighton High School and attended Vespa George School of Art in Boston. Jean resided in Weymouth and Quincy. She worked for Sears Roebuck Co. for over 30 years retiring in 2000. Jean loved animals and was a member of the Humane Society. She enjoyed music, going to the beach and shopping. Most of all, Jean loved being with her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John's Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean Cormier may be made to American Parkinson Disease Assn., 720 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
