Hi Mom: I can't believe that it is almost one year since you've been gone. The pain doesn't get any better as the days go by. Your death has affected me so much. I miss your cute smile and ways, and the way we did "salute" every Sunday morning with our coffee! I am sorry for the times I didn't have patience and lost my cool. You always forgave me. Please know that I love you very much and miss you. I will try to get through this but it is so difficult! I know you and Pop are watching out for me... as I have had a few more "mishaps" without consequence. I love you both and send extra kisses.Love Marlene

Josie,my dear friend of almost 50yrs. We first met in 1961 when you and dear Frank rented us an Apt. Since that time we remained friends with all the wonderful Turra family. We visited the Turras and Corinne came to AZ. Many of your dear Mother's traditions, such as the Easter money hunt was carried on by me for our kids & Grandkids and now Great-Grandkids!! Many of the things your parents gave me are still in my home, so they are in our thoughts often. I loved them both. Nine months since you all lost your dear Mother & Grandmother. I feel blessed to have had your parents & all "youns" in my life. God Bless you all & now shes back with your teasing & humorous Father. xxxooo Joyce & all my "Kids" who loved her too.

Peppy misses you too!

Hi Ma: We went to Canobie Lake and missed you so much. Thought of you on the carousel and got many visions of you around the park. They were fun/happy times. Olivia said she remembers eating ice cream w/ you. lol. Anyway, I hope you and Pop are playing 500 rummy up there in heaven and behaving yourselves. Love daughter Marlene. I miss you and LOVE you both

Hi Nonny...I love and miss you so much still...always of course, but I am still thinking of you every day from little things that remind me...I saw double chicken legs AM today and thought of you, of course...at Allyson's graduation the other day, she was really wishing that you could've been there, as you were for mine. Looking back, I still have the pictures from my graduation, and I love the one of you and I. I am SO glad that you were there...I also wanted to thank you again for that ring that you got for me with Auntie Marlene, and Allyson got hers last Saturday, and said that she really wished that she could've thanked you for it!! She knew that you and Muv picked it out ahead of time though....

I LOVE YOU NONNY!
--Love always your granddaughter "Kristy"

Nonny--I miss u so much still...not that I will ever NOT miss you, but I think of u so much all the time. Muv and Dad gave me tons of your kitchen things for my dorm, including your toaster. I feel like I am your house sometimes when I use it. :( ....I miss you so much, I wish that I could just go over to your house and watch TV with you, play cards, eat, or anything. I still remember vividly that time we went to Donelin's (in Groton), and u forgot your money! xD and then we went back home to get it, and were headed to the Donelin's in Littleton, and I realized when we were pulling out onto the road that we still didn't have it! haha, and then we turned around again, and u told me that I was a lifesaver, and it made me feel so good. :) I miss u so much, your little head with your curly hair and your little smile....oh, Nonny....I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nonny...I miss you so much, but everything that I and everybody else wants to say can't be summed up here...I really wish I could talk to you, or at least hug you...I thought of you a lot today, and just wanted to say that I miss you more than you could imagine...Peppy is very sad, but at least he is with us, opposed to being alone in your house. I wish sometimes that when I'm walking by your house that I could just stop in and see you...everything's so different without you...well, bye for now Nonny...I love you & am very thankful for all of the things you taught me!

Nonny!!! Where do I begin? I miss you SO much, and so does everyone, I know. On your birthday, I was thinking of when we would always make your birthday cards with groundhogs on them for groundhog day. :) I miss you so much, and always feel like dropping you a line on the phone, like old times. I am going to be doing a project on the North End pastry shops for my Illustration class tomorrow, and we're meeting on Hanover Street (your street) to take guide photos. I wish that you were here so I could really tell you....I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

Lorene,
I'll always remember your mom when she told me how nice I looked when serving as an altar boy at your older sister's wedding (kind of like a motherly "seal of approval"!), and later in high school attending all of the concerts and supporting all the activities when you and I were in the band together. Please accept my condolences.
