Grandma Julia remains one of my all time favorite people. The first time I met her she welcomed me into her home and treated me as though I were one of her own - with warmth, graciousness and humor. I will always laugh when I remember her serving me the best raviolis I have ever had, insisting that I call her grandma, and telling me that she knew I was a very good girl, she could just tell. In my mind, her grand character and trememdous love and pride for her family will remain the hallmarks of Julia LaMarca.
