Val & Joe,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. He was a great man and I will always have fond memories of him during our high school years. He put up with "us girls" and always made us feel welcome, as did your Mom. May God give you comfort and strength at this sad time. Always in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,

Pat Duncan

Papa Sciuto, that’s what I called him. Although he was a small man in size, he was a big man at heart. He always wore a smile and was so happy to have a visitor. When he laughed he had the cutest way about him. I really loved him and he knew that. Everybody who met him fell in love with him as well.

He loved his wife Angie and his Children Joseph and Valerie, his family and his friends.

Imagine being married 65 years, when God said to Angie I’m taking you home. Sammy handled it well. He kept calling Valerie his wife or he’d call her Angie. After all 65 years is 65 years. They made the most adorable couple. Same height as the Bride and Groom on the wedding cake. Now, 4 years later, God said the same thing to Sammy, I’m taking you home to see Angie. He will be truly missed by all those whose lives he touched. When Sammy arrives at the Purley Gates, God will say to him, I’ve been waiting for you, but, Valerie would not let you go.

I just watched their 50th Wedding Anniversary Video. Angie and Sammy looked so adorable together dancing and smiling. They had all their family and friends around them, and that’s what they’re probably doing right now.

Joey and Valerie,

Uncle Sammy was such a wonderful man, always happy and smiling. I had a dream about him last night - he is in good company. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
