Kathy, I was so sorry to learn of the death of your mother. I only met her a few times but you could tell she was a wonderful woman who did a lot for the community.
My sympathy to all of your family and I know your mother is now happy with the Lord.

Claire welcomed this wash-ashore to Winthrop, helping me learn the waterfront loved by my late husband, Bill Hanna, when we came to his childhood town over 30 years ago. Billy Rupp picked up where he and Bill had left off; he and Claire welcomed us into their family; their waterfront. Their heritage: Kathy and Tiger; Sandra; some of the waterfront heritage.
Recently, I've most often seen Claire sketching by the waterfront (or exhibiting winners at Winthrop Art Asociation events. So many persona - down-to-earth, feisty, gracious, talented, wry, caring, delightful. I'm honored to have known her. Thanks!! Tink Martin

Barbara and family
I remember your Mom as the very nice lady who made beautiful dancing costumes for the Edith Woods dancing school when we were kids. And as a friendly face in Point Shirley when I lived on Siren Street. Nothing makes the passing of someone easy...but knowing that the person lived well and was loved by many makes it easier to celebrate their life as well as mourn their loss. My Dad, LeRoy, who was a long ago member of St John's parish, passed away a few months ago so I can feel for your loss.

Dear Kathy, Tiger and Family,

George & I were sorry to hear of your mother's passing. When I first joined St. Johns your mother was very welcoming to me.
I remember when we all did coffee hour together.
Because of people like your mom, so dedicated to the parish, it made my family want to join the church. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Sincerely In Our Prayers,
