Gerald Alder Obituary

Gerald E. Alder loving husband and best friend to wife Carol Alder. September 13, 1945 – May 11, 2011. Jerry was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. Jerry's fondest memories were going air boating and frogging at Grape Hammock Fish Camp and Jeep rallies with his sons. Jerry was the President of Myakka Frog Flowers, LLC. Jerry gave 22+ years to serve the citizens of Sarasota County and a great job he did. Jerry leaves behind his wife and best friend Carol Alder, sons Jerry Alder Jr. and girlfriend Kathy Weibel, John Alder and wife Elizabeth, John Benefito and daughter Jamie Benefito. Brother Harry Alder and his wife Sharon, 2 grandchildren Hannah and Logan Alder and his cousin Ray. Jerry is now in "Airboat Heaven" with his Mom and his loving dog Alata. WE WILL ALL MISS YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!! Love you whole bunch, whole bunch, whole bunch too Hun. Memorial Service will be held at Myakka Family Worship, 33420 Singletary Road, Myakka City on Monday, May 16th at 2:00p.m. Celebration of Jerry's life will follow the service at the Alder residence, 5751 Wauchula Road, Myakka City.
